My mommy said I couldn't so
For the last week and a half or so, I've been without a computer. It really sucks. I built my current notebook because it's really cheap than buying a new one from the manufacturer. I guess this shows the quality of my workmanship. :doh: So I was typing a report and the lappy kills itself. A plume of smoke rises through the keyboard. [smilie=l:I ripped it apart and yeah...

Finally got the motherboard replaced and it's up and running. I hope it doesn't blow up on me next time... :)
 
what died on it...ive had caps go..ive had PS's go and ive had vid cards go up in smoke..even smoked a cpu once
 
Snook's right. Unless you left something in there that shorted out, that's a manufacturer's defect

not really sure what actual component died on it. i was too pissed off to look into into. wow 69.5, you were doing some serious stuff!

Yeah I believe so too. This time I didn't have screws missing. :D Rarely when I build them and I have screws left over or missing, it gets kinda complicated. :doh: So far so good, until now... :mad:
