71_DEPUTY

Clear the track for Johnny Mac because I'm
oil pan for a slant six!! for a 80's super six!

son's motor has developed a leak while the motor is on the floor- d**n thing is just a pile of rust looking like a oil pan!!!!

thanks guys!!!

how soon ya' need one ? I have a '66 belvedere with an engine, but not sure if I can get it out of the bush ,I'm going there next week,,,

hey- as long as it is not a rust bucket pan- it will work- well talk when you are coming my way!!!!!!!!

Little known fact: oil pans were optional on Slant Sixes, as they don't actually require oil to run. :D

I had a perfect one (from an F/M/J-car, no less) that went to the scrapyard around May... had the whole motor up here, for free... [smilie=e:

I've got a pile of /6 parts out in the garage that's going to the scrapper in the spring. I'll look at the oil pan at noon and give you a yell on it's condition.

I've got proof that ain't true, in the pile of scrap I mentioned. One block has a hole in the side of it big enough to stick your fist in.

Bob you couldn't have been revvin' it very high if the hole is only that big !......lol......hey BOB,thanks for that part# download you sent me awhile back,I find it super handy, when there's no room on the desk for the hollander books,,,

John, the one I have is from a '66 225,will that work ? if not,my buddy has a big moder casting pile out back, which is where this thing will end back at,I'm sure I can pop one off for ya'.......if you need newer, this moder has been covered in the car for over 20 years,up off the ground,it looked clean when I last saw it.

I didn't blow it up, and looking at the heads and pistons it was intentional. It's nazzty inside.

No problem on the part lists, glad they help.

thanks B-bob!!!!

69x9x9- ya- bring it when you pick up the beast!!!!
