Brought her home last night, 8 week old Goodendoodle. :cool:

Been looking for awhile for either a Goldendoodle or a Boxer pup. The "Dood" was my first choice but the ones I found were very expensive :eek: .
That is until I got a call from my sister yesterday, her husband found her at an Amish farm that breeds puppies and she was one of two left and at 1/8th the cost of others I was looking into I jumped at the chance. :giggedy:

She will be a large dog around 45-65 pounds with her mom a Golden Retiever and the Dad a Standard Poodle. Excellent disposition, intelligent, easy to train and a low shed/ hypo allergenic coat are some of the breeds qualitys.

We are very excited (can't say the same for our cats :D ) and we will have our hands full with house training and such for awhile. It's been way to long since I've had a dog and the routine certainly has changed around here.;)


One problem....we can't decide on a name. Suggestions?

AWWW!!! She's adorable. Good luck on the house training, it's been a while but I used the crate method with success with my last 2 pups.
 
Yup, I brought home a crate DG. Been pretty lucky so far, a couple piddle incidents but all #2's have been outside...so far.
 
Does she bark or does she yap?

If she barks, go with cuda.

If she yaps, send her back... I mean, go with Honey.
 
Wife says go with Willow. We have 2 male Goldens 6 1/2 and 2 1/2 year old. Have fun with her. Wife says how dare he get one of the dogs she preffered but price up here was about $1000 cdn. Our 2 1/2 yr old we got from a Omish family that bred dogs. :giggedy: :bravo:
 
If she's going to be energetic maybe Moxie? That's our cats name and everybody loves her.

Awww, lil puppys. :) I love dogs perhaps a bit more than cars. :)
No names are jumping out at me but honey seems to fit pretty good. :)

She's adorable...I have a "puppy" who's almost a year old, next month...she kept growing and growing and growing...she's bigger than me! Eldubb calls her "the Yak" and my teenagers handle her just fine, but does she sit on any of them??? NO! Goooood luck and I hope she stops growing at a petite size!

I have decided on Cuda, easy to say and she is already responding to it.

Not much sleep last night but the housetraining seems to be going well so far. :helpme:
