XLR8R
exhalted master of his nuts
I bought another bike. Sigh. I was told very strictly never to ride again, by numerous professionals, but I am not listening. *lalalalalalalalala*
Once you have this bug, it just never goes away.
for those of you that didn't know, I rode/raced for 24 years up until I was taken out quite smartly by a moron on a Polaris Sportsman 700 ATV. So, for 6 years I sit, whining about being in pain, moaning about not riding.....so piss on it. I am gonna hurt anyway, I might as well go down flailing.
I found a smokin deal on an old 2001 Suzuki DRZ400e and tugged it home. After an afternoon of serious toying and cleaning and tweeking, I got it to a state where it is a happy little runner.
Not a very powerful bike in comparison to my last mount, but really manageable. It isn't like I will EVER ride like I did anyway, so if I can have fun, I am going for it.
Now......when I wreck myself and end up losing my beloved leg, you can all say " I TOLD YAH SO!"
