Considering the conditon of the rest of the car and the location, I would guess rust.

I bought a 86 lancer turbo new wow that was a nice car. But I always wanted the real shelby...but this dodge lancer shelby would be nice too it should have the turbo II motor and the gerteg trans, both better than a real shelby lancer
