Saw a strong buick on the dyno tonight

One of my best friends has an '87 GN he bought new. He has done a few things to it over the years. Still has the full interior, functional a/c and cruise, power windows and locks, etc. He dynoed it tonight in preparation for the gs nationals coming up in Bowling Green, KY. It made 683 hp at 27 lbs of boost. Engine looked like it wanted to exit the car to the passenger side.

There was a time a few years ago when I was running my mustang with the nitrous 393 smallblock-he and I were leapfrogging each other in who had the lowest ET. It was funny because we never actually ran each other, but we would tell the other of our latest low ET. I got to 9.76, which was about all that combo had in it. He kept going, eventually getting into the high 9.50's. He expects it to go quicker this year at Bowling Green.
