Rolls Royce announced the beginning of testing of its planned new aluminum-based space-frame architecture with the goal of ensuring the carmaker’s famed “magic-carpet ride” is preserved using the new frame. The new architecture will underpin all future Rolls-Royce models, likely beginning in early 2018.
