Anyone else check these guys out? They do interesting cover medleys of two or three songs you'd never expect together, but make 'em work! Their musicianship is obviously not to the level of some of the bands they cover (guitar work is lacking at times), but the way they pull the songs together is very interesting and well-executed.
I first heard of them yesterday at work, when "Don't Stop the Sandman" came on the local excuse for a rock station. It's a medley of Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'" and Metallica's "Enter Sandman". It's a crappy radio at work, and I was busy but at first I thought I was getting crosstalk from two different stations and only realized when I had a second to pay attention what the hell it was.
I checked out a couple other songs, "Voices in the Jungle" (Til Tuesday's "Voices Carry"/Guns 'n' Roses "Welcome to the Jungle") and "Here Comes the Fool You Wanted" (Eurhythmics' "Here Comes the Rain Again"/Cinderella's "Nobody's Fool"/Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead or Alive").
Very cool stuff. This is an album (titled Reimaginator) I will be purchasing first chance I get.
