exhalted master of his nuts
This is restomans latest paint job...still needs a wetsand, but damn does it ever look better than the pics even show. Restoman will hopefully chime in and tell you its interesting story. :)

Awesome car!, I'll get pics this weekend of a 63 fury original 426 car my brother in law painted white also.

I just checked in the user preferences, and I could not find a setting for "do not display XL's rediculously large images", so it must be something in your browser settings.

Thanks Guys, I think it turned out OK - a little wavy in a few places and some dust nibs, but pretty good for what was essentially something that should have been a parts car only.
It was pretty rough.
It arrived after sitting in bare steel for six months, with ALL the sheetmetal panels piled inside the car, along with the bumpers and several boxes of parts.
The hood was at the bottom of the pile. :(
Replaced the left rear quarter and both doors, did some extensive repair work on the right rear quarter, right front fender hood and deck lid.
Trunk floor, taillight panel, firewall, etc..... All needed lots of repair.

The owner paid a lot of money for it, got screwed over by the previous repair shop (they got it to the take-it-apart-and-leave-it-in-bare-steel stage), and now has more money in it than he'll ever get out of it (I warned him beforehand), but it's gonna be an awfully nice car when done.

I think we're at about 500 hours so far.

Chris, this is the same car I was looking for the glass for - what a headache that was.

Viking, the paint on your Dart is gorgeous. Floyd the painter really knows his stuff.

yep I had the glass but wasn;t it a hassle with the first bodyshop returning it,IIRC ? anyhow it came out nice!congrat's,...........the guy shoulda' bought one of my rustfree 64 polara 4 door donor car's,I didn't know the sheetmetal was all that bad as well,,,

The Polara was a mess. Somewhere I have the original pics...I will see if I can locate em.
Martijn! Clean the crap from my babies name-plates! :D Yup, Floyd Knows his stuff. He did a great job.
