Rare "Bird or???

hmm, what strikes me as more odd is the fact that mr. collector of collectors is selling his car. That's Julianos stuff right?

Don't know who it is, I just thought the "vintage pics" with the "temp tag" were interesting. We didn't start using temp tags till the mid '80's here in NJ.

So the mysterious 70 "Daytona" surfaces again.....

That seems a little loaded to be a Daytona, has anyone else seen or heard or a Daytona or 'Bird with a sunroof?
I don't remember Daytona's being badged as R/T's either...

Its not Juliano. I believe his name is Jules Lindeman or something like that. He had the car built at the dealer in 1970 when it came in. There is a ton of contraversy whether or not that there was a "Daytona Package" offered by the dealers in an obscure seldom heard marketing effort. Much like what the "500"ackage had become on the Charger in 1970 - but this Daytona package was supposed to be dealer installed. No clear proof has surfaced to validate this claim.
The claim that there were 3 (this purple one, the watermelon car, and the red one) from the factory has been disproven many times over. Someone even went as far as to forge factory microfische of the orders for them. Proven to be fakes. But this guy has had this purple car since new, I think if its still the dentist. He's tried to sell it a few times in the last 4 years of so, but I think he believes its a multi-coin car. Very very very mutli coin.

*EDIT - the current owner is one Jerry Jueneman who has owned the car since 1979.*

There is a very good article in a recent Mopar Collecters Guide about this car. The car is indeed a cobbled together clone and a not so good one at that. :naughty:

in the brokers fine print disclaimer, he covers his ass by saying "I know nothing I see nothing" loosely paraphrased but I don't wanna go look again.
