Blah Blah Blah
well after 3 days in the pouring down rain i need to re minkoil my dover..but i managed to get the 79 ramcharger running and moved from the friend thats moveings house to a friends house alot closer...gives me a lil more time to make a spot for it and get some crap out of the way

as for the RC itself..its running like crap cause id say that the gas is about 3-5 years old and stinks wonderfully...i had to put it into 4low to break the E-brakes loose...the timeing is off heater not working(am i suprised lol :eyeroll: ) steering is REALY loose and it feels like the front brakes are the only ones working..and the front floors are shot.....
on the good side of things i was told the engine has about 10-20k on it and was passing DEQ :wtf: the rocker boxes(the square boxes under the floors under the doors) are solid not even a spec of rust it comes with new front floor skins a new rebuilt PS box new dash wireing and a small pile of ther bits tranny feels solid as well....

as for cost...i get to weld in floors on a 74 blazer

well its going to be the doaner to put "greendog" back together...
on a side note i think my good luck may be comeing to a close...while trying to get the 79 running i found the throttle cable snaped off..went out to the wrecker and found one but stuck around the yard for another hour for some stupid reason looking at the factory deck's in the newer minivans and FWD mopars looking for a factory cd changer controler deck...stumbled across an intrepid with no deck but a set of fosgate amp cables..figureing what the hell i would pull em..trunk bashed HARD...got it open to find a 500watt jensen amp ..while pulling it i look up to see a set of sony explode 6x9's ..while pulling the power runs and cables i crack open the front doors to find 5inch sony explodes..all for a sum of 26$...ripped my pants on the traileronce home..then riped another pair on the trailer..almost riped my dover..and today while shooting pic's of the 79 i sliped in some moss and slamed my knee into the rear wheel well of the 79..i cant walk for shit and its my left knee...everything driveable and tagged is a manual trans....

Damn I kinda hate you right about now! :D If you wanna sell the Sony 'Splodes...:toot:I still need to replace my front door speakers. I miss U-Pull-It. All the yards around here are crap!! Next summer might have to get ahold of Stretch or Jass and take them up on the yard run in their neck of the woods. :)

careful.. maybe the throttle cable snapping was like a fuseable link in an electrical system. :helpme:

JC im with ya there ...the only truck grill i actualy like is the 77/78 square turn signals in the grill setup..clear or amber...then the 72-74 dash for its much "simpler" look to it as well as the 72-74 stamped steel inner door panels and the 72/73 dodge embosed tail gate...

"greendog" is a kitbash of all of the best looking and best "stock" parts ..74 frame unknown year rust free filler free body and top, 72 PU doors 74 fenders 74 core support 72 hood with PW emblems 72 tailgate, 73 wireing(least complicated) im sure i could go into extream detail but you get the idea...one thing i noticed on this 79 that i MUST put on greendog is the chrome trim on the drip rail...never seen it on any truck around here befor
