In Chicago, Mike Cairns, Ram director of engineering,told us that the company had indeed looked atlocalizing the Iveco Daily, a more direct competitor to the Sprinter and Transit than the light Ram ProMaster. In his own words, “Wecan confirm we certainly have looked at theDailyas an opportunity. It’s a class-three van, where the current ProMaster is a class-two.
