Porterfield brakes?

Anyone here ever used or even heard of these guys?

I'm trying to find a set of HP pads for the LeBaron, and other than these guys, it seems like I'm stuck using street pads (Raybestos, Wagner, etc.) with the exception of Porterfield. They manufacture a carbon/Kevlar pad in the FMSI number I need (39). Other performance-brake manufacturers seem to ignore the older pin-type Mopars.

I don't want to hurl a close friend down the track without knowing he has plenty of binder on the big end. I'm not really interested or concerned about long wear, as the car won't get driven much anyhow (obviously).

I realize I'd probably be fine with premium Wagner or Raybestos pads, but with the manual brakes I'd just as soon every split second of pad-to-rotor contact be optimal. I know I can get the AR adapters to mount Wilwood stuff on my spindles, but that seems needlessly pricey (though the 20lbs of unsprung weight I'd lose is awfully tempting).

Suggestions or ideas? Does someone else make go-to-hell #39 pads?
