A soon to be beautiful 1942 Plymouth Business Coupe Hot Rod. Just needs your TLC and time.
Exterior-
The exterior of the Plymouth has been painted a beautiful burgundy. The panels are all straight and mounted on the vehicle. The hood is not attached. The exterior trim pieces are on a pallet along with the bumpers and numerous panels, light assemblies and moldings.
Interior-
The interior is incomplete but the front and rear seats have been reupholstered. The headliner is installed as well as the door panels and rear quarter panel pieces. The carpeting is installed except where the sheet metal in the floor needs to be installed. It has a later GMC steering column installed in it with tilt steering. Electric window regulators have been purchased for the vehicle and are new still in the box.
Mechanical-
The engine is a small block 350 V8 backed by a TH350 Transmission. It has a new Edelbrock carburetor installed on it. I am unaware of what rear end is installed or the gear ratio. I have lots of pictures of parts for this vehicle and can send you any that you may want with a quick message to me.
Overview-
This is a true project car with a lot of work already done to the vehicle but with quite a bit still to go. It has a brand new AC unit that needs to be installed along with all the parts. As mentions earlier I have a lot of pictures of all the parts and pieces that are going with this vehicle. The inside trim pieces for the windows have been painted to match the vehicle. All the chrome and trim are original and have not been redone. All of the glass is also with the vehicle. This is a strong base for someone wanting an original steel bodied hot rod. A lot of time and energy have already been put into this Plymouth, now it just needs a little more of your time to get it complete to hit the road.
