Pistol grip for your automatic

Yeah yeah, gunslinger has them for the T-Handle shifters.

There was never a good solution for the older style with the push button on the top, though. (Was there?)

Well, it looks like there will be soon.

(I was going to link to the pics, but they are huge. So, I just let you go to the site to see.)

Combine that with the Shift-R-Gate and you've got something a lot more fun than stock and less of a hassle than a whole shifter re-do..

Sounds kind of neat and I'm thinking about it.

Any concerns about this gate thingy?

The gate modification looks like a winner, but Pistol-Grip automatics are, well, gäy. The Gunslinger one for the Slap Stik not only looks stupid, it's not even that comfortable... your wrist goes through some contortion down in low gear. Plus, it looks stupid.

The longer PG shifter shown in that modification maybe works better, and it definitely looks better than the Gunslinger and even stock lever... of course, pretty-much anything's an improvement looks-wise over that hideous stock shift lever.

That's what I was thinking.

I don't like the slap-stick PG handles.

The straight up position of them just doesn't look right and as you say, it can be tough to handle.

And at the same price!

Well, It's the look and the shifting that's interesting. And no hacking up the console.

the gate part is just that! a lockout for use with stock detents,,some aftermarket shifters are detent gate style only, some ratchet only, and some both, like the B & M Quicksilver model,,,it is just like the slapsticks where you can quickshift without missing and hitting N or R.......

I really like mine and how it shifts, as does everybody who sees it. Guess I'm just gay! [smilie=w:

But that's a 4-speed, yes?

That's okay in my book.

I think the "happy" factor applies to the straight sticked slapstick types.
It was a neat idea but everytime I see one, I just can't get my head around what isn't quite right... It looks"off."

That's why I thought these new things with the curved arm, are more interesting.

Only one pedal ;)

I was only looking at the shifter. I was fooled by the boot.

Most of the slapstick ones I've seen still had the auto console with the selector window.

MGF's looks way different and better than what I was thinking...

Still - this new arm changes all of the things that I didn't like about the others...
