Piggy beating up on the Dakota today....

dustergal

I have serious issues, so I'm
and he didn't even blow it up this time!

We haven't messed with it much at all this year, actually we just pulled it out from the weeds in the back yard and hosed it off. :D

Ran a 13.6 @ 98. It wouldn't shift into third (shift linkage messed up) and we had a heavy stock 340 intake on it cause we thought the Crosswinds had a leak, turned out to be the carb...long story! anyway it's slowly getting faster, LOL, I guess it's not too bad for a bunch of junk parts slapped together. It still has 3.23 gears and needs suspension tuning as it is only getting 2.02 sixty foot times even with slicks.

what are you running for rear springs? look a little heavy:huh: My experience is limited to watching.

btw more fat guy on the motorbike please:)

is it just my ears or is the 1-2 shift sound a little easy and slippy....just doesnt sound like it has that snappy 1-2 punch im used to hearing...i say pull piggy out of the driver seat ..that should help the reaction times and save on weight :p...maybe strap him to the rear of the truck for some traction?

Stock '87 Dakota springs not set up for racing in any way...hey what can I say, this is a cheap project.
