Anyone know what year that would be from? I spoted some original paint on it and it throws my idea of what kind of car it was. My family had a 1932 Chevy that was green that we made last an insanely long time (plus it took five trips from Wisconsin to California and back). This apears to be a pice off a black Chevy...which screws me up. Because my family had a Model T at one time (I found some parts of that too, but most of the valuable parts were already sold to have more room in the shed. Though I did find two tires and a head light with Ford Motor Company stamped on it [smilie=2: ). Also, there was a Chevy that was dismanteled and rebuilt into a tractor, but it was gray and the year doesn't match the era of this part. So somewhere down the road, someone owned a Black Chevy in my family. I'm looking at the late 20's to early 30's grill shells (what pictures I can find) and I see a little resemblence. The only grill that looks about right was off a 1930 Chevy Phaeton

, but it was a distance shot, so it was hard to know if it really was off a car like that.
I would think this would be off a truck or a 4-passenger car, but it seems Chevy's were common in my families history since my uncle inherited my Great Great Uncles 1972 Chevy with 16,000 miles on it

, and my dad inherited one of his tractors, 1950's model that looks like new, yet it was well used over half a century.
If anyone here has an idea of what year this is from, and perhaps the model, that would be great. I'm not looking to do a model specific build, just would like to know what it came off of. Thanks guys :bravo:
