Picture of my 73 Cuda

Hey all,

I'm fairly new here and wanted to say hello and share my ride with ya.
Petty blue '73 Cuda, 383 w/ 509 cam, 4 speed manual, Hooker headers, Spintech mufflers. Very loud!

Great web site! Thanks.

Jack

"onehellofadart",

Thanks! That is one hell of a dart!
I see you're from Moonachie, NJ. I'm from Closter and my wife is from Leonia. I really want to get into Bracket racing. Got any pointers?

Jack

Thanks Jack I have just one pointer. [smilie=e:

Get out and do it !!!!!

I procrastinated about it for years. I'm 50 and just got back into it
a year ago. I go about 1 - 2 times a month. When I feel like it.
I'm planning on going alot more in the fall.
Jack take her down to Englishtown on a Wed or Fri night Just for kicks.
Great feeling as you approach the Tree and start to shake.
Then a second later it turns green and [smilie=2:
Just do it! You'll learn or remember as you go.
And be careful !

Racing is a sickness and I have no intention of finding a cure. [smilie=e:

Good looking E-body, I like the color. [smilie=c:

Say.....how about a pic of the engine bay? I so love the 383's, underated screamers and with a 4 gear and 509 cam a blast to drive no doubt. [smilie=e:

Engine is ported & polished, 30 over, single plain intake with an Edlebrock 800cfm carb. Never had it dyno'd but it pulls really nice.

Nice. [smilie=:: I have the same intake and carb on the 451 [smilie=c:

Does it keep it's cool without a fan shroud?
