Pics of my truck

Now that I calmed down from my previous rant, and I corrected the electrical issues that had occurred, I figured I'd post a couple new pics.

Here is that wonderful dash...

I have the center out, I broke it pulling on it.

I also replaced the tie rods and installed a leveling kit, I must admit I'm pretty happy with the 2.5-3" the front end came up, looks WAAAAAAY better, and rides more like a 3/4 ton truck now.

I guess that is all the more reason to use sunshades in the front window area. Hmmm, where is mine because mine faces south in the driveway!!

Almost every Ram up to the '06 change I've seen down here has a cracked or broken dash. The 98-01/02 dashes are broken and collapsed into themselves and just leave a huge gaping hole. I don't want to spend, not that I have it to blow anyway, $400-600 on a new dash. If I do I'll definitely buy a dash mat for it.

We'll go shopping if you ever get up here. I've never seen so much as a hint of a crack on one of those dashes up here.

They stay pretty over here too. The box sides rot out, but the dashes stay pristine...

My 2000 had a cracked dash as well. I got a replacement at a wreckers for $100. I found that they are extremely brittle and when replacing it you can't be forceful with it.

lol armorall...that crap should have been call protection remover or disintigration shine
..ive never seen a dash in that bad of shape..thats nuts

That price from the wreckers tells you how much demand there is for them. If they were a hot item, the price would be a LOT higher.

I guess most people just leave it as is. I on the other hand hated looking at it and it was nowhere near as bad as 71chargers.
