Not too sure if they ever made a black AAR cuda in the 70’s but if they did does anyone have a pic of it? Thinking of painting my 74 cuda gloss black with a flat black hood, top of fender and top of doors (like the AAR paint scheme) and I’m wondering what it might look like.

The black AAR and T/A cars are some of my favourites.

I had a chance to buy a pair of AARs back in '87 or '88... one black, one pink, both original colors, both 4-speeds, neither with vinyl. There was enough there to build one car, with the exception of the interior, and have a hell of a start on the second one. I think there were only two black AARs and like 7 or 9 pink T/As.

Man, the things you could buy for $2500 back then.

One of the black AARs sold at Barrett-Jackson AZ this year for $135,000. It's the highest-known price ever paid for a small-block E-body.
