Out with the 3.91's in with the 4.30's.

Yes I set up a 489 case with 4.30's for Jr's Dart this week. He put the new jackpot in last night and took out the 3.91's. Boy does she launch harder. Course we put on some American Racing street tires today for the street also. They are about 27.5" tall and 9" wide. And Ron Jr says they hook nice on the street. And it kinda gives the Dart a meaner stance. Dont look as stock now. [smilie=e: Ron

Thats my favorite yr of swinger, wish mine was older. Engine will want more Rs now. I would think the jack stands could go elsewhere to make that particular job more accessable but hes got long arms it looks like.
 
ron. i love the stance on the dart. i run 28" 15 x 10.5 slicks & they work great on CUDA. hope the taller gear sets you back in the seat to drop thoses et's

you're right Ron - she's standing like Black Sheep's GTX now. and that's one of the meanest lookers on the planet. And the distance between the Dart's rear bumper and the Fury's grill has just gotten larger. [smilie=e:

Mike cant you see the 63 is still out in front ?? [smilie=e: Thats the way I gotta keep it ! In all honesty we are gonna have some fun playing around with his Dart pushing for high 10's and hopefully this is a start in the right direction. We may not get close but we are gonna have fun trying to push this basic 406 combo at the 10's without any major changes. Ron Jr wants to cruise to all the local shows with a 10 second slip. [smilie=e: Well its gonna be fun using his car as a test car and we want to keep it as stock as we can body wise. Stock looking and no cutting at all. But we will put a rollbar in it and try to hide it. As for the 3.91's which is a complete 741 jackpot all set up. I plan to keep them for now in case we need an extra posi unit and my 63 has 3.91's so it will be a spare for it also. Mike as for the 63 I hope the combo I put in it will be somewhere in the mid 11's as 11.50's will keep me happy. The Dart should most likely be faster for now but I do have future plans to push for 10's in my 63. I guess I dont mind getting whipped by my son in a Mopar I built. [smilie=b: Ron

I also got 28" tires under my dart, i like the stand also very much!

but i do want to have SS springs, what's the PN# from yours Ron?
