well obviously my body still isnt right...but it doesnt keep me down as much as it did

today i "was" doing some light trimming back of floor pan in the lloyd so when i stitch in the new floor pans they will overlap onto the frame rails for a better weld and cleaner seam...i was also busting out some spot welds....somehow i slipped with the hammer and hit the side of my knee..right in the joint line ....the sensation was that of a funny bone hit swaped with pure pain...instantly makeing me VERY ill damn neer puked on the shop floor...it did force me to the floor where aperantly i passed out for about 10mins :huh: ..mind you i was working on the drivers side of the car...i came too behind the car with this to show for it..and dont remember anything after going to the floor with my knee hurting..let alone moveing beyond the driver side door area i was at...didnt hurt then but its starting to hurt pretty good...funny my kneee doesnt even feel like i hit it at all

came into the house..wife got mad at me..cleaned and inspected it and told me i was done for the day

Oooooo that sucks! yeah I believe you passed out....I came dang near to doing that when I fell and landed on my tailbone, everything turned white and I went down but not out. Your wife got mad cause she loves ya...be careful.

Yup.

Landed hard on both my knees this past fall. Pain knocked me out cold for the better part of 1/2 an hour.

Worst thing is, none of my staff on scene even noticed me laying at the side of the stage until I was trying to get up....

ive been lucky i guess. there has been times when i shouldnt be here. totaled out a dump truck that was loaded once and all i got was a scratch on my back and spilled coffee. when it was all done and the wrecker gone i went home and told my wife and i had to hold her up and when she saw the truckshe turned so white i thot heaven came.i had to talk her into letting me buy another and when i did she was white again. i should have bought a WHITE ( Freightliner) and they would have blended........ you can slow me down BUT you cant stop me... thats the motto i live by...believe it it gets harder every day to keep up to this motto. ive always been one to say "your only as old as you want to be"...still hard to beilve a whack to the knee can knock ya out...im certain now more than ever that ive got some kind of chemical imbalance...ive taken bigger harder hits and laughed them off

heat?!?!?! whats that? :huh:....long underwear, fleace jean jacket....and i hadnt done any welding just cutting

ive full force sledged my ancle(yeah i cracked it) while straightening a ford PU rear bumper..and laughed it off...this little hammer hit to the knee was minor imo....but i aint been right for over a year now so im not suprised

My brother did a similar kind or forehead mark.

He was using a crescent wrench and it slipped off and knocked him right in the head, knocked him out for a couple minutes he figures.

couple years ago i was hammering in a fence post.... missed the block of wood and smashed my finger with a 5lb sledge.... was fine until i went inside and started running cold water on it.... almost passed out.... damn that hurt....

Kinda fun remembering old injuries. I got kicked by a cow when I lived on the farm, I was putting the milker on and the next thing I knew I was in the gutter several feet away, have no idea how long I laid there. Got up and I had a hoofprint on the side of my head...

Explains a lot about my personality now, come to think of it.
