opening day deer hunt

My deer season ended early this year again. By 6:30 am I got an 8 pointer. Normally that would be a good thing. But in this case, you have to get an antlerless deer first. Oh well, there are so many deer I knew that I would get another one soon. I left my new buck knife where I dressed the buck so I walked back in to recover it. It was there right where I thought. I picked it up and was cleaning the blood off of it when I saw something out of the corner of my old eyes. It was an antlerless deer and it was 1o yards in front of me. I took my 44 mag with me so I didnt have to drag my 12 ga. throuhg the thick cover. I lifted the 44 and fired . I hit that thing right in the head and the pics. show the damage that a 44 mag. can do.
So my season was over by 8 AM and the party started. We'll be leaving here tonight because we have to go to my girlfriends parents for Thanksgiving dinner. Then were coming back up here to have some more fun. Happy Thanksgiving.

Someday I'll go hunting...:helpme: I wasn't aware hunting with handguns was legal :wtf: That .44 sure ripped that deer up though. :D Mmmmmmmm ......venicin.......*drools*

Yea,in Wisconsin you can use either a rifle, shotgun or a pistol. but you cant carry a pistol while using a rifle or shotgun.
 
Now that's a good day hunting! We have a big buck roaming around at my mom's place and there's a young hunter trying to bag him this week.You can only hunt with bows/crossbow now.The buck was standing in my mom's front yard yesterday and walked across the road onto Royal Botanical Gardens and stood there,if they knew how to stick out thier tongue I'm sure this one would of[smilie=l:
 
Mmmmmm.... Wild game is good for you, too. I miss hunting. Allergies got bad enough that every time I sneeze, every animal within 3 miles runs off.:shifty:

A lady I work with gave me some venecin sausages and venecin steaks.....going to be my thanksgiving dinner! :D
