Looking for 4 15" wheels, 6 inch rims, 7 or 8inch would be better. They are part number 2823863. They were common on low priced 65-68 Fury & Dodge Police cars in those years. They are the ones with the clips for baby moons not the standard rims. They were also common on the 55-57 Savoy's. Got my wheels all painted up and didn't take them to the tire shop first, 3 of 5 would not balance up. STUPID................
I took the car out, the shimmy is not bad, normal crusing is 55-60mph, stomped it as if to pass and noticed a tolerable shimmy around 75mph. I was told that there might be a place on Horton Street in London that straightens them? Anybody know who it is ? Lesson Learned................
If anyone has some straight ones let me know and I can pick them up if reasonably close..........
The rims actually turned out nice paint wise, will try to get some pics up tomorrow..........
