I recently took the Fury in to locate a tranny leak I couldn't find. Guy decided it was the neutral safety switch that had a problem. Said he had a used one that still worked fine from a 2002 Neon. Just wanted the damn thing to stop spewing and no parts stores were open on the holiday so I said to throw it in. Is it just me or does it seem strange that a 2002 Neon switch is the same as a '70 904 trans? I smell somethin' stinky :huh:

the neutral safety switch was the problem? put a seal on it for christs sake. btw, the sorenson number is LT 26 for a neon, and LT2 for a 1970 Plymouth fury with a 318 and 904 trans. something was definately stinky, I doubt they did anything to tell you the truth.

I dunno, man... sounds weird to me, but then again the trunk latch from a '95 LeBaron will bolt into a '66 Satellite, so who knows? I'll have to look more closely into this one...
