Just how hard/easy it is?

I would be using a 360 and either a 904 or 727 wichever is easiest.

I havn't found a van yet but I'll start the hunt if I think I can do this crazy thing!:giggedy:


I've always wanted to build a V8 K-car but damn thats alot of work.[smilie=f:
 
if memory serves ya swap out the front end with a subframe...tho it was my understanding that if you removed the front shafts and left just the ends in place that the stock front end could be used...grab a rear end that fits the width(dakota?) clearance the firewall for the tranny hump and mod the wireing then get a shaft cut to fit it

So do you sub frame it with M-body same with the rear or what?

What abot the trans mount/crossmember?:shifty:
 
use the M K frame and suspension, M body rear housing. Trans member will need to be tweaked or made. Pretty straight forward looking, course, I never actually did it. :D

Gotta find one in good shape first but thats the easy part out here. :D

I like doing it myself cuz then I know what I got.


Besides, one ready to rock is probably worth more then I can afford.:silenced:
 
have a look thru your local craigslist.org....ill bet you find a free or next to free minivan every week or 2
 
Okay then, but this one is realllly built. :) You can still put your own drive train in. :D
