OK guys opinions needed

Desciption seems to be pretty straight forward. Lists all the work that is done and work that needs to be done. Doesn't look like anything to mislead. IMO if he did not read everything and or ask specific questions the misgivings on his part are his fault not your. He got what he paid for. End of discussion.

Neglected to mention the mis-matched wheel bolt patterns? Other than that, and the unmodified cab/body comment followed up by the shortened bed and widened fenders (which are sorta contradictory statements), I can't see anything really wrong...

my guess is he saw a pretty pic and thought he got a steal even tho you mentioned dents and dings...his fault for not reading

Dont cop an attitude jo but you asked and my thoughts are-its not finished and it could have been closer if you would have put some more time in it.Wire feeds arnt cheap, paint isnt either. The wipers should at least work. You have some neat parts asembled there but for almost 7 large it should be cherry.I pick up unfinished projects sometimes and I wouldnt have went half that, but its all apples and oranges at this point-dont be upset OK? No Attitude taken, however you missed alot.
1. More time????--4 years enough??? And I can't drive it due to 2nd broken ankle.
2.Wire feeds arn't cheap???? What you talkin about??
3. All left to install wiper was to put motor in (very easy access since it mounts in the cowel) wiring and switch run and hooked up.
4. Better investigate street rods--- 7 large is a unfinished project-- finished 15-50k. Most start at 20k and go up.
5. I'm not upset but I asked for opinions on the auction and clarity not on the truck itself.

Your right Doc--thought about that after typing but what was ment was no modification made to cab/body as in chopped top or channeled or sectioned areas.

Well JD - I don't have any personal familairity with the truck, given what i do know - I cannot see anythink you may have neglected to tell him.

yep 7K is cheap for a streetrod

Street rod?Didnt realize it is a street rod-so you didnt use a wirefeed to widen the rear fenders then?ok.Im cheap and will be the first one to admit it.When you end up giving away most everything you had to siblings and exs a person has no choice.Do you have an idea what the noise in the motor is?Sorry to hear about your ankle too.Gotta go-the race is on. jo - what sort of complaints are you getting. God , you pretty well spelt everything out in the description. Its a rod/hybrid/built-at-home. Not a mass produced vehicle in a several billion dollar factory.
I'd like to hear some of the complaints really. $7K gets you an abused Yugo or one 1971 'cuda fender nothing else.

Ah it becomes clear now!!!! You also didn't read the auction. This is the problem with the buyer. He thought he was gona jump in and drive it after towing it on a tow dolly to Florida with the driveshaft removed(fluid mosly leaked out on the trip)(complaint 1) didn't read that it needed tune up or what ever to get it running proper(complaint 2). sold a 56 chevy for 2500.00 thoughtthis should be as cheap (complaint 3)I guess he's a chevy lover (problems 1-26)
