odd rare trans value?

ok./..i got a doc stumper here

ive got a NP 4530 yes tahts the #...what i know is its a rare trans for dodge trucks and a FULLY syncro 4spd without that dreaded uber granny low..and was put in 2.5ton trucks and rated for about 800 ftlbs.....so..whats such a beast worth to someone who wants one?

i have 3 of these buggers best i can tell...and i recently drove one breifly and WOW compared to the granny low beast you expect in a truck its down right pleasant

As we all know, rarity does not always equate to value. I assume you have been looking for similar trannies for sale as a price base line?

actualy i didnt even know it existed..and digging around you have a hard time finding any info

i have someone ready to drive up from socal for it thats how bad he wants it

basicly its a bigger longer version of the dreadded granny low 4 spd we all know..hell i was sitting on one out of a truck and didnt even know it

The NP4530 would be referred to on the door tag of the truck as an NP445. Same transmission, but still not a lot of information.

There's a close-ratio NP435 with similar ratios to the NP4530/NP445, but it's still not a synchronized first gear.
