Just a few things left to do and then it's off to Bradenton :giggedy: :banana: . Got the car lettered with some old time SS markings, see the SS/SA painted on the sail panels and the 425 H.P. on the hood. I modeled it off Bill Goldens Golden Commando 1963 Savoy. I found a local sign guy that loves this stuff and he hand painted the lettering, he did a great job. Also PumpGasDuster painted my glass hood and decklid to match the rest of the car and it's looking good. See pics:

Might just be the poor lighting but the hood looks a number or two lighter than whats on the fender to me. Needs fresh bug splat and a generous layer of new melted rubber applied to the rear quarters and it will be just right. Go get em tiger.:2thumbs:
 
Thanks guys. DAHO, yep it's not a perfect match but it's close. The car is base clear, the glass is enamel, good enough for a race car. I'll get plenty of PICS.. :banana: :giggedy: :quaff:
