Trying to find my weed and
mini-Ford 2.jpeg

mini-Ford 3.jpegSo on XL's advice I'll post this here.

For sale I have a '78 Bronco. Drivetrain completely redone incl. new engine w/Edelbrock-Holley 4brl and Lunati cam, np205 transfer case, new driveshaft, 9" rear, newer dual exhaust, every suspension component completely redone incl. new springs-shocks and every joint, bearing and bushing replaced. New windshield, steering components completely done, new seats and all rolling on good 31x10 rubber.

Now the bad. Tailgate is shot. Needs rust repair around rear wheel wells, lower door skins and some floor work. I have over $7000 in reciepts from pro shops, no hack work, and the truck runs and drives perfectly. Hurts to let go before completion but go it must. Asking $1900 US but price is very flexible as it MUST GO. All offers welcome.

Will tow your car to the track very nicely :toot:

Thank the Lord above...Truck is sold! :)

Now my only decision is to go 8 1/4 or 8 3/4 for the Dart:hmmm: Yeah I know. I can already hear the cries of 8.75 from afar. However, a well built 8.25 will live behind a small block for half the price. Course with the 8.75 I never have to get another rear again regardless of future upgrades...

Damn, this is getting ridiculous...

One less ford in the yard is cause for celebration * sips beer* hell - Ive had 7 1/4s live behind a teen for years if you drive it halfway decent. Mine has an 8 1/4 in it also and the first drop out type I find is going in it but until then a quick inspection and fresh seals will help. When you are building something on a budget costs need to go into essentials only until it actually runs, then get fancy as funds are acquired. Otherwise they never seem to get on the road.:hmmm:

Budget costs...a fact I know all too well. I figure 4 yrs till this thing sees the road and just want to do it right the first time. I don't mind waiting. Well, maybe a little :)

GO for the 8 1/4. Unless you are gonna do something wild, it should stand up... no? :)

Thanks for that 66D. Some good stuff. I'l only be pushing 300-350 hp so I figure an 8 1/4 will probably do. Still not keen on those c-clips.:doubt: I've heard of c-clip eliminator kits so maybe I'll check that out.
