Not a Mopar, but...

... I'd love to own it!
A little on the pricey side, but if it's as good as it looks and as good as he says, it's a decent price.
That era Poncho makes my pants shorter. :)

Looks pretty nice.

As far as the price goes, well... stuff is worth what people are willing to pay for it. If he finds someone who wants to part with close to what he is asking, then I guess he wins. If he's not at all negotiable, then he will probably end up keeping it. Nothing wrong with starting high in my opinion.

To me 8 lug wheels just mean I couldn't get any aftermarket wheels for it. One of the reasons I trashed the 4" bolt pattern stuff on the Demon.

I completely understand the logic, since I largely feel that way about factory fresh-air hoods: I don't like being tied into someone else's idea of a good time when it comes to induction. But in this case, there are no aftermarket wheels that look as good on those cars as the factory 8-lug wheels. Period. :-D

If the Valiant hadn't come with the slots, I would've likely converted to the larger bolt pattern. But even with 4.5" pattern slots, it still wouldn't look as good as the 4" pattern slots do. I'm not sure why that is, it just is.

I just looked them up. Pretty slick, like an old VW, Porsche, or French cars. How would you balance that mess? With the drum on? Or is there an adapter that resides with the bulk of the remaining unicorns?

The wheels were spun on the car. There was an apparatus that attached to the outer rim of the wheel that sensed the (im)balance dictating where to attach counter-weights and the wheel was spun with one of these;

...and this is how it was done;

Before this "new" spin balancing technology came to be, the old reliable bubble-balancing was your only choice.

Oh yeah, I've seen photos of those.. Slipped my mind. Wouldn't mind having one myself. And a tire machine. Definitely a tire machine. The New Yorker and the Dart have their white walls out, and the tires have lots of tread. Drives me nuts. I like black walls, black or body colored wheels, and dog dish caps. Or Turbines.

My buddy got me these at Carlisle for helping him with his Datsun. He paid $100 for all four. They're Accro, and I think they're from the seventies. They're on my truck, and awesome.image.jpegimage.jpegthe last shot was cheating.. I crammed it in the bead/rim protector of the BFGs and got down on the same level for the shot

Yeah.... I don't see it. While I don't think they are unattractive, I obviously don't see what others do in them....plenty of aftermarket rims I would prefer to those.
