Can't compete with the beeper but we took the 74 for a little ride today, Mr 340 riding shotgun, broke her loose trying to make a quick turn [smilie=e: (steering really sucks on these old cars! ) [smilie=e:
eased off & slipped into traffic without hitting anything, dropped her into 1st gave it a little goose & banged her into second hard, nice little chirp from the old girl, don't think I was much over 3500 on the tach, should be nice if I ever get brave enough(breakage brave that is) to bring the revs up a bit! [smilie=e:

Stock steering, stock brakes, stock handling....these areas have all progressed greatly in the last 30 or so years, but one jump of the loud pedal of the old girls makes it all worthwhile for sure.
