After all that thrashing and running around (during that, I had to take a nice long walk, thats another topic), I got the '77 Fury ready to roll, loaded it up on the trailer and rolled on over to the fairgrounds. Fired it off, rolled it off the trailer, and then boom, it died. No fuel pressure. After going to get gas, we found the boat tank pickup was clogged and was internal. That sucked and pretty much ruined our evening.
We got the car to run by putting the gas line into the tank but thats it.
This in itsself was a god-send because I would have been taken out in a new york minute. I need to get more power, weld the spiders, and then weld up the bumper shocks. Basically prep it a bit better. I've got time though, theres a decent one in the area in a couple weeks.
I'm thinking Smallblock (318 probably) right now, or maybe a 400 I've got out here.
