Automotive News reporter Larry Vellequette has seenfiles that reveal more details on the next-generation minivans, due as 2017 models and expected to start pilot production in mid-to-late 2016 for testing.
The new vans are almost identical in exterior dimensions to the existing ones — no surprise given therisks involved in changing the size. They are somewhat taller, though. A hybrid version is definitely in the plans, as stated by FCACEO Sergio Marchionne (and the current four year plan).
