Hey guys,

I just scored a 86 Dodgitsu Starquest (Dodge Conquest/Mitsubishi Starion :)) :giggedy: 2.5L turbo RWD. Guy who sold it was getting ready to go to Iraq and since before then, he never used the car for about 3 years. It was garaged and covered. After a complete fluid change out from radiator to differential the car ran like a dream. I know these cars are a nightmare to fix especially with the miles of vacuum hoses they have and parts are really hard to find, but I like this car a lot. Don't get me wrong, Mopar Muscle forever!!

If you find you need parts, let me know... I have two of those. One '86, one '87.

No, I don't have an unbroken front spoiler. :D

That was the first thing I was going to ask. :( It's all gravy. Thanks a lot Doc! There are a few parts that I do need. Expect a PM with a long list. :xl:

If an egg can fit in there why can't 68.....[smilie=f::naughty:

I can personally say I have never seen one of those...or even knew they existed...must have been a US only car?? Never seen one here on the wet coast of the great white north...:shifty:

Yep those are cool cars. I will never own one though. They were not built for anyone around 6’6” 280# .[smilie=f:[/FONT]

Ahh...that's why we have C-bodies...I'm 6'8" and 275lbs so after converting to C-bodies I actually have a car that fits ME....:D

BTW, the engine's a 2.6L, not a 2.5L. The ultimate iteration of the infamous Itchypussy "MCA Jet" engine. Great when it runs correctly, a nightmare when it fails (both of mine came with tragically-failed motors). Don't get too deep into the engineering of the engine or you'll be enormously disappointed.

The best advice I can give you about that engine is this: if it needs something, get the right part, and fix it the right way, exactly to the FSM, which you really should have. If you try to shortcut it, you'll end up smoking the motor. The guy from whom I bought mine tried to circumvent the factory's goofy oiling system, and ended up with four rods that were heat-blued halfway up their length with bearing shells literally welded into the rods.

Oh, and be prepared to shit yourself on the price of replacement parts.

Being from the same area, I can personally say I have never seen one of these either. They look pretty cool!

I'm only 5'11 170#, so you freaky giants can have your C Bodies. I'll be sitting on a booster seat in my munchkin machine. :shifty:
