J.C. Corbett
or something.....
As of the first of the year, I may not be posting for a while. At that time, I'm moving to Reno, and starting over. I have lots of friends and family there, and plenty to do. Along with the move comes a new professional direction. My cousin who lives in Reno, and myself will be beginning production on a television program centering around the sport of team roping. The entire concept of the show is ours, and we will be doing most of the work. Lucky for me, my cousin has a degree in journalism, and a second in marketing. He's worked as a local news anchor, newspaper editor, and in radio, so he's familiar with the business of television production. The show will be fairly educational, with lessons and tips from top professional ropers, which will rely heavily on strategically filmed roping runs with the pro doing a voice over, analyzing and explaining the run for the audience. There will also be an ongoing segment where a farrier(horse shoer) will go in depth regarding horse foot health, problems one may run into, how to recognize them, address them, and correct them. We will also have an ongoing segment where a veterinarian discusses horse soundness, preventative maintenance, nutrition, and troubleshooting. Finally, we will have top horse trainers doing a tips & tricks segment. Even among the topics I've listed, this is just the tip, and the beginning. More will happen with this, and hopefully with time, we will find success, and possibly more opportunities because of it. Anyhow, I know this probably isn't too terribly interesting to post on a Mopar board, but I've been working on this quietly for months, and I'm finally able to get excited about it.
