Hey everybody,
just saw this site today thought I would register and join in the fun. My son and I have a nice 67 dart gt we transformed from a /6 to it present combo of 360 looking to change over to 408 stroker sometime this summer. I spent most of my formative years cruising Woodward ave. before Uncle Sam came calling. Now I've been blessed with having a son who shares my love of fast cars it cost's a little bit more these days but the end results are worth it. We have shared many moments together good and bad putting our car on the road but I wouldn't of had any other way. Thanks and I'll be talking with you guys later.

Welcome to the nuthouse your lucky my son is not into Mopars but my daughter hangs out here when she is not bust ( She is working 2 jobs and is a full time ASU student )

Welcome....and yes pics are a must :p Feel free to include some stories about the car, the buildup with your son....etc..:)

Thanks, for the welcome as soon as I get a chance I'll get some pics of our car I need to figure out how to scan some onto the site.

I'm still feeling my way around, so good luck, you're on your own, but I think they like sheep in here...

actually I am not sure if it is a factory color or not the car was repainted before we bought it, it is still going to need a better paint job some day but we thought we would drive it for a couple of years before we do that. We basically stripped the car of all suspension and drivetrain and replaceed the front with disc brakes different torsion bars skocks ball joints just about everything up front and put a narrowed down 8and 3/4 with superstock springs it has 3.91 gears 727 trans and like I said a 360 that we are going to .replace with a 408 stroker, thought about the 426 kit that Hughes is selling but we are having second thoughts about spending that much

I would stick with the 408, what heads are you planing? I would put the extra money in heads and valve train. The key to a good running stroker motor is breathing.
What ever stroker kit you get have it checked well and factor in a little extra for machine work.
