Hello, my name is Frank and I am currently in the process of restoring a 1971 Charger R/T. I bought it from a guy who had it up on blocks for 23 years. It was in fair condition with floor and trunk rust. Other than that it's all there, my son has a body shop and has restored numerous classic cars including a 1970 Challenger R/T Convertible Hemi clone, I also have a fully restored 1960 Thunderbird, with all the bells and whistles added. I will post again soom.

Right on! thant sounds like a real score....much like my 68 Charger that spent so much of its life in storage! Very neat....got any pics of it?

Welcome!

Hi Frank, lots of knowledgeable folk here if you can swim through the rest of the stuff that makes this place home.

Sounds like a nice starting point with the charger.

The dart went over seas, and the charger is under dust.....

Frank, welcome, and thanks for the big red text, some of us old guys don't read so well no more....

Welcome Frank! Sounds like a nice project. Keep us posted.

Does your son's shop have a website that we can check out?

Thanks for the greetings

Thanks, for all the nice replies. No my son does not have a web site, but his shop is located in Philly just off I-95. You can see my 1960 T-bird at Squarebirds.org in the 58-60 member rides, the black, flamed one is mine. I just picked up a hidden headlight system for the Charger, but need direction as to obtaining relays and switches, Thanks Frank

Thanks

Thank you for posting the T-bird picture for me, I guess you figured out that I like all kinds of old cars and like to see them kept in good shape and enjoyed. I now have eight granchildren and these cars will act as some kind of legacy for me. One other thing, I just bought the hideaway headlights and motor and brackets. Can anyone help me with where to get relays and switches. Thanks, Frank.

P>S> The Tbird went on the 2004 Hot Rod Power Tour (3000) miles with my Son and his friends cars. 1970 Challenger Convertible Hemi Clone and two 60's Vette Convertibles. This year is for the 1971 Charger R/T.:gaga: :gaga: [smilie=2: [smilie=2: :gaga: [/COLOR]

That's a fantastic pic! Stunning rides all, anymore shot's of the raggy Challenger? The '70 droptop is simply the most beautifull E-body ever created. :)

F Troop

If you remember the Medicine Man, his most meaningful quote was, "When shadow of dead bird falls on log, means time for beaver to eat."
