Congrats and best wishes to momma and the new one. Hope you been building up on your sleep quota, cause it just diminished for a while. :xl: :bravo:

Grab your bottom lip.
Now pull it up over your head until it reaches the back of your neck.
Have someone step on it with old-fashioned baseball cleats.

I'm told that starts to get close to the pain.

:D:D:D....I like to poke the bear and bug her that she got off easy since the girls were both C-section babies......(runs away in a serpentine fashion with head down...)

Congratulations, man!

I thought my daughter was big at 9lb 8oz (well, not as much so as the previously-size-2, 102lb Tyrannosaurus Ex did--and yes, she was delivered naturally) but Laney was 24" tall meaning she was quite a bit thinner. :D

Best analogy for the pain I've heard from a woman? "Try and piss a golf ball."

Hope Mom and son are doing well. It's obvious that you were thinking of the 1-2 shift on a 727 when you named him... his initials are WAM!

Congrats!!

I caught the WAM intials too! Cute.

10lbs....Dayum I'll bet she's resting alot more comfortably than she's been lately.

Practice singing to the baby with me..
"Twinkle Twinkle Pentastar....How I love my dads Mo-Par..."

ahh the months of sleep deprivation almost gone but never fogotten. Have fun because before you know it .. a year will be gone and you will be thinking ... WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?

congrats

Yep, The first wee un was 10lb 4oz and after 22 hours of labour had to come out the section, so we scheduled this one for a section from the go. It's actually been fairly low key as I find bigger babies are a little more relaxed he's sleeping 3-4 hours at a go. William and Arthur are both family names the only thing we checked was that the initials didin't spell a cus' word.

I wanted to sneak a mopar name in there with D'artagnan so he'd be Dart but the wifey vetoed before I finished splainin' to her that it was a heroic Musketeer name. Just like she did with the girl names I had picked out that would have made my daughters nickname Mo Par. In hindsight probably a good move. :xl:

Thanks for all the well wishes. Pics will follow :bravo:
