Hey gang. Been checking out the web site for a while, pretty cool and lots of info. Any members from Alaska here? Been a body tech/painter for over 20 years now.
I currently have a A-body, but I'm always on the prowel for something else.

From one body and paint guy to another- Welcome.

Into collision or old stuff?

Hello, I do both collision and restoration work. I've been a combo guy for the last 9 years alone, again. Started out in high school wrecking cars and couldn't aford to have somebody else repair them, so you could say it all started in 1982.
Good to meet you guys. :2thumbs:

"Mark from Alaska" :hmmm:

Hey! Do you know Mark? He's from Alaska!
He lives in that house... by the road..

David, how are you? Yeah, its me from dc.com. Hows the charger coming along now? Did you ever find another body shop to fix your car correctly after the mess from that other place?

Mark

He's like the Classic Car version of this guy: http://www.holmesonhomes.com/

and his name is Mike TOO!

Mike, Mark is the guy I got one of the fenders from - not the red one!

I started another section on my webpage about this phase of the project - not sure if ya saw itover on dc - so here it is: www.niagaramopars.com/b2

Welcome to the nuthouse. We're all crazy, and only mostly harmless.
What's important is that we pretty much get along even when we don't.
we're always having fun.

Is the fender I sold you a black or primer grey fender? I've had a few and the primer fender is what came off my neighbors charger that I had just bought from him and sold it before striping down. The balck fender I blasted and did all the metal work and sold it to someone on line also. Glad to see your getting your charger done finally. After we move to Washington, I'll be looking to buy another charger again. Have a Lightning now and my Scamp/Dart project is all now.

And a nice fender it is, too.
Somehow, I never thought about nice stuff like that coming from Alaska.

I'm glad the fender is in good condition. Not all cars are from Alaska. The only cars that are trashed are the cars that are driven in the winter here, thus being the reason they rust faster as anything would. They are worse places to buy cars than here alone. I only wish I lived closer to David to help him w/his charger since he got screwed by the last shop. Hope your charger gets done correctly this time around David. Keep me posted.
