Washing dishes where Roxxy works! I 'm scheduled Tuesday and Wednesday for trial period same shift as her so that'll help with gas. If they like me I'll get 4 days a week. More details later:dance:

Dishwasher? [smilie=2:

When I first moved to Sarnia, jobs were scarce in bodyshops. I spent 7 months washing dishes in a VERY busy restaurant.
Worst friggin' 7 months of my life.

Did that at various restaurants in the area when I was in school.

Honest work. Usually decent conditions and if none of the cooks/chefs are former war criminals, it can be fun.

Memorable moments:
- walking in to the kitchen and being startled by something thrashing in the back utility (non-food prep) sink - look in to find it's an eel. One of the Chinese cooks caught it that morning and wanted to serve it as the lunch special. They made him take it home.

- spiking the goofball cook's milk with cayenne pepper knowing full well that he guzzled the entire glass in one shot.

- eating garlic spareribs while sitting on overturned buckets in the back prep kitchen

- walking the white line in the middle of the road to stay clear of whatever was rattling the bushes on the way home at 2 AM.

- getting a ride in to work early and having to spend the extra time on the beach with friends from school

- hitching a ride home in an e-type Jag convertible and having friends see you pull in to the parking lot.

and lots of real crappy shit.

Good luck Davy!

Congrats!!!

I just got a new job too!

I start tomorrow installing truck accessories and general repairs on RV's & Motorhomes! :giggedy:

Yeah I just got one of those damn things too.... eventually I'll get a day off to go with it, I hope :wtf:

Good Luck with it Davy :bravo:

I get dishes thrown at me every day and have to pay her. The next day the cycle repeats.

i might have a new job oppurtunity coming up too.... in the form of going to San Antonio for a couple weeks helping the company im working for now through a HUGE transition.... may even be able to get hired in through the company.... but that would mean i'd have to relocate.... to San Antonio....

San Antonio is good. And think of all that sweet solid texas sheetmetal. :giggedy:

Just stay away from the coast and you should be fine. There's a lot of old cars around here (coastal TX areas) but you'd swear they've spent their entire lifetime up in the snow/salt belt with the amount of rust on 'em. Salty seawater is good fer dat...

BTW: San Antonio is only about three hours North West from me.

I hope it's at least a Hobart Machine.....
lmao i washed dishes at a casino resteraunt for a year and when i forst came in we had a 21 year old hobar tmachine thing was a brute . about 3 month in they decided it was too old(even though it ran great) and bought a new one......it was the biggest pain in the ass to work with didnt wash for shit and still had sharp edges so everytiem you took it apart to clean it you got cut and had to go report it. they should have got another hobart :wtf:

Back when I was slingin pizza dough for Round Table Pizza, we had a Hobart mixer for mixing up the fresh dough. Thing was old as dirt but still ran like a top! Pour in the water and mix, flip a switch and walk away for about 20 mins and viola! fresh dough...easy to clean and maintain...yeah I'm babbling at this point... :shifty:

Just got a call from Roxxy. They like me and I got the job, so I get to fill out paperwork tomorrow! BTW Don my machine is by American Dish Service.
