New Chally manual tranny...

Is this old news and I've been under a rock somewere...I had heard that there was rumors that the new 09 chally would have a manual transmission option but I thought it was still up in the air.

Anyway just got my latest edition of HotRod and they have a quick test drive of a 6.1 SRT and 5.7 R/T with a tremec 6060 manual tranny. They tested a 3.5V6 but didn't state if it was going to get the manual tranny as well.

You can get the srt and r/t with a manual now, don't know about the beginner cars.
I went and looked at an srt and if they weren't such asses I probably would have ordered one. No wonder detroit is in flames.

I have that site book marked but never go there to check things out, I see it refrenced too quite often...not only am I under a rock but I'm lazy too.....:shifty::toot:

Saw an article recently that had a 600hp Viper V10 going in a 2009 Challenger at SEMA.

I was wondering how long it would take someone to do that swap. I also wonder how long before someone swaps in something like a streatable Ray Barton style 426 based block into one.

We have 3 5.7 6speed cars now! Silver, Titanium or something and Red with the RT stripes coming off the hood over the fender... sexy sexy:gaga:No SRTs yet, those will be nuts for sure.. I just hope they let me drive one :doubt:
I sat in one and the shifter feels sick as hell, it's cocked to the left and forward and it's just right
3.73 in one, 3.92 in the other, supposedly a 4.10 option too!
