Need some info from people in Ont.

Finally making plans to take a road trip to pick up the cuda in Kemptville (1 hour south of Ottawa). First thought was driving out renting a trailer and trailering it back, second thought was flying down renting a truck and trailer and driving back. Anyone know of any place that rents for cheap?? I live in Manitoba

Think backwards.

What rental places do you have there that you can drop the truck and trailer off at when you are done. Then see which ones have outlets in or near Ottawa.

Can you set up a haul for someone else from Manitoba to Ontario?
Make a little on it to offset the cost of picking up your car.
Split the cost and no plane ticket to buy. And it's fun!

I am only an hour from Kemptville,in fact firefighter Ron and I are going thru there friday to pick up a big old 4x4 power wagon that I bought last week for my hauler,,we alway's use a u-haul,but they are kinda' short,on the wheelbase, for long trips,they tend to wobble over 100mph.,but we just hauled a 72 cuda on one from toronto to ottawa,and we lived to tell about it,,,,,,this truck we are picking up will crush a U-haul,lol,,,maybe even turn Ron's chebby moder inside out??........lol.......how soon are you wanting to haul your car ?,,I maybe planning a trip to Sask. in the spring to pick up some '62/63 ply. parts,,I have a hauler trlr. with a 20' deck,,,,besides I've been stuck in Ontario for a year,I wanna' see if there is a great wall or a red curtain with armed guards when I try to leave it!.....lol
