Well it's not a Dodge but I'm really starting to swear by these mid 80's - mid 90's F-150's! 1988 F-150, 4.9 straight 6, 4x4, 2" suspension lift, 31" tires, only paid $600 for it too!

yea yeah :dgt: :p I'm not gonna beat on the Ford as hard as I did the Jeep. Lesons learned but I wil stillplay though! :cool:

is that thing as rotted out as it looks?
actually no it has a small hole in the driver floor pan and the guy i bought it from (my boss) cut out the tops of the wheel wells so he could sling rooster tails in the mud. Otherthan that it's pretty decent.
 
We are just yanking your chain yah know....I am sure it will be a great truck for a few days. :shifty: sorry, got a little into it there. :D

Had a couple of those myself. Both were good trucks. Had the same six in the 90, and it was a great motor, (actually decent on gas!) Just maintain it and you're good to go. ;)
 
I like 'em had an 88 F250, might be gettin that one back (long story) and a 90 F350, both 460's both C6's 8 mpg in the 350... when gas was cheap $1.50/gal
