Yeah, it's just a post of a picture, but I thought I'd share it. Beautiful shot, and to me catches much of the essence of the film for a still.

I reenacted an 86 mph run on that very stretch of road........ in a U-Haul. :shifty: :D

Well considering how shitty it ran in Denver, yeah it was like a political convention. A lot of huffing and puffing and things getting done very slowly. :D

I know what you're saying. The 26' truck I took from Atlanta to move to PA ended up on the tow dolly with The Black Bitch pulling it. It was only a few miles, but how that tow dolly didn't disintegrate and the fact that I didn't rip the entire rear half of the Charger off still amazes me.

it HATED climbing denver...everywhere else wasnt so bad.....but that stretch of road is a desolate wasteland of silence

Loved the movie, didn't care for the lame ending.

This is my wallpaper, it's a screenshot of a part of the small town of Springvale just outside of the Washington D.C post nuclear war ruins in the video game Fallout 3.

Personally, I can't see any other way that movie could've ended. The look in Kowalski's eyes in the final moments is the happiest ending they could have gotten... and he does look happy.

I agree! I'm also glad it wasn't a Challenger that hit the dozers :D
