nice fresh canvas,

hot rods of the day, relatively cheap, rear wheel drive, hospitable to engine upgrades.

oooohhhh ahhhhh thats a purty truck right there.... wish mines looked that nice....

Could a big wedge be shoehorned into it? How big of a shoehorn would be needed?

there was one in either a mopar mag or those other guys that had a 426 Hemi in it.... wasnt what i woulda done... but hey.... different strokes for different folks i guess....

wasnt it a 440 shoe horned into a 93 dakota in that mopar mag you speak of? I believe it was in mopar muscle. But i no longer get that mag so maybe they did a recent one

Been keeping my eyes open for a regular cab shortbox on the cheap, got this 440 stittin here looking for a new home you see.:toot:

I got such a truck sir (if I wasn't using it to put my ass around in it). But if I find something better, if you don't mind some repairable rust, I got a standard cab short box truck.

We'll see what happens when I come back from Japan. All goes well, I'll need a vehicle to last me for another two to three years, then I'll be gone to Japan for the rest of my life (I hope).

My old truck body is about shot and got a solid motor/trans.
If I'm a good boy maybe the wife will allow me to have the moneys for a swap.
PS..I went a little over the budget ($1500) last engine build and got grounded from the check book.

no this was a very early 90's mag.. prolly 94 or 95 and it had a 426 in it.... i'll see if i can find it and if i can i will take pics of the thing and post em.... or maybe see if my moms scanner still works and scan and post em.... i remember it well because i thought it was a complete waste of motor.... not to mention all the lund stuff and the big snorkle scoop ( could be mistaken on the scoop)
