I have this cd of the greatest 100 metal songs of all time on my computer, but it's all in mp3 format. I would like to burn these songs to cd's so I can play them in my truck. Anyone know of a free mp3 converter thingy?? I have heard LimeWire4.0something is free but I can't seem to find it. Thanks in advance. :)

Thanks anyways 68. I know it sounds cheap of me but I don't really want to pay for something I will hardly ever use. I don't d/l music so I would have no regular use for it.

Just about any MP3 software player with burning capabilities will do it for you.

Windows media player should do it.

iTunes will for sure...

You're really converting mp3s to redbook audio
redbook audio is measued in time and not bytes...
so make sure you pay attention to how many songs you are trying to burn per CD.
It seems like that is an obvious statement, but I find that it is a very frequently asked questions "Why will 100 MP3 files fit on a disc but NOT 100 songs that will play in my regular CD player?"
MP3s are compressed so they take up less room. There is no compression in redbook audio.
