Ending months of rumors, including correct predictions on Allpar’s motorsports forum, Mopar has officially announced that it is sponsoring two-time NHRA Pro Stock Champion Erica Enders and five-time Champion Jeg Coughlin in the 2016 NHRA Pro Stock season.
Ms. Enders, who won back-to-back championships in 2014 and 2015, will run a Mopar-powered Elite Motorsports Dodge Dart GT. Mr. Coughlin will be driving a second Dart with Magneti Marelli colors.
After a lackluster 2015 season, Mopar ended its 20-year partnership with 2012 Pro Stock champion Allen Johnson. Mr. Johnson wentout on a high note, winning the final race of the season (also the final Pro Stock race with carburetors). (...) →
