Wasn't really expecting to get hammered on a personal preference but I guess that is why they built 4 door and 2 door cars. imo 4 doors and a lopo v-8 is not desirable no matter who makes it :huh:

They are absolutely not desireable, in fact they are pretty much worthless. The only reason I have one is it was free ( still more than it's worth in one piece). But since I have it, might as well make the best of it without breaking the bank on it....

I could see the one you have as being desirable for the simple fact that fenders, grilles, taillights and such will interchange with the 2 door versions that are for the most part actual musclecars. Free is super sweet also :clap:

I had a 71 fury four door, it was even green. BUT it had a sweet running 383 with hood emblems and it hauled ass while getting 20 plus on the open road. Got drunk as a pig and wrecked it and the motor now resides in a 68 coronet. I traded a non running 67 fartlane for it.;)

I've got my 68 Coronet 4 door for several reasons;

I'm in love with the 68 'Net body style

It only had 19K miles

A 318 with 3 onna tree is unique

The color makes it a perfect compliment for my R/T 'vert

If ever needed, I have lots of perfect OEM parts.

It's easier on gas than the R/T or waGOON

:cool:

All good reasons in your circumstance, but if not for those reasons, would you have bought it? :hmmm: The only real reason I have mine is that the price couldn't be beat, it was free,it ran,and delivered to my driveway.... And as mentioned earlier, the parts are worth something...

If it was a different color I would've passed, engine & trans - not important. If it had high miles - wouldn't matter that much.
rusty - pass again. :dgt:
