it..and i still have complaints about what hardware was used.....why wouldnt you use mini allen screws instead of crappy philips heads?

I've seen that one before, very impressive build.

I still like the sound of this one best.

is one of many that are built FOR rc cars..some have superchargers even

ok im getting sick of the board cutting off the entire first word every time i type

It's cute as is the V8 Dipster posted, but neither will last long. Show me one with a pressurized oiling system and bearings, and I'll be impressed.

actualy those v8s last a long long long time as the heat etc isnt as bad as the real thing...part of it is they ride on bigger bronze bushings than youd imagine ...fact is the stuff actualy seems to get more durable as you scale it down...you will wear out the jug n slug long before you hurt the bottom end youll have replaced the jug n slug 3-5 times minimum

im talking under load....l

ets put it this way..the single cyl version of my nitro rigs ive only ever blown 2 bottom ends..1 was the result of a wrist pin failure..the other was a main bearing that had been thru hell and back that got sand/salt water into it..mind you that main bearing was a ballbearing type and had about 10gal of nitro thru it..the average jug n slug will go 2-3 gal before you start getting slop..and im talking ABUSEIVE racing use not "normal" driving.....with all my abuse ive never had the rod bearing go

I didn't see any bushings in the V12 in the video, nor did I see any provisions for valve covers. I think small-scale running engines are cool, but I don't think when someone's going for "World's Smallest" they're particularly interested in durability.

that v12 is likely never intended to run...the v8s however were..and are part of an rc kit...pricy at that...last i knew around 3k....

I know there are V8 model-car engines, but that dude was going for world's smallest, so I bet it's missing any durability goods.
